WHAT TO BRING: Sunscreen, a hat, snacks, PLENTY of water AND BRING A FLASHLIGHT!!!!. We will meet under the ramada a little bit before our 4:15 start time. Please be courteous to your fellow hikers and arrive on time. It's a good idea to try to arrive at least 5 minutes early. Bring your camera and manual, and get some hands-on help. The mentoring concentrates mainly on understanding the camera functions, and less on photographic art and technique. Location: Leonore's clubhouse at Swan Lake Estates on Flowing Wells Road. I believe you go straight ahead to find the clubhouse (if I remember correctly). Please be patient! Sorry for the confusion! I hope people can still come - just a different location. Leonore lives on the northwest side of Tucson on Flowing Wells. It is very easy to find. There is NO fee for the meetings. It's time for another trip up Tumamoc Hill. It's a 3 mile hike round trip, but the 700ft elevation will make sure you'll breathe hard. So, especially if you're not a T-Hill veteran, you want to bring a flash light, plenty of water and proper shoes. Depending on our group, we might take around 1 1/2 h up and down. We will meet right at the beginning of Tumamoc Hill Rd off W Anklam Rd, right opposite the St. Mary's hospital. To make it worth the gas driving there, this will be followed by a happy hour at North on 4th. If you can't make it for the hill, expect us there around 8:30pm. There are no signs outside, but it's at the SE corner of 4th Ave and 5th St. Ok, I admit it, you could call it a dive bar, but at beer around $1, sometimes including Guinness on tap, who is to judge?? They also have pool, and it's always been a very happy hour. Worry about Tuesday morning later -- You could always leave early... ;) Cheers, -John | Price: n/a
