Dwaine Canova

Dwaine Canova is a successful entrepreneur with a remarkable track record in launching businesses, running large enterprises and inspiring others to achieve success. Today, he is the CEO of ChosenList.com® providing strategic insight and direction in creating one of the greatest start-up success stories in Arizona’s history.

As an Internet entrepreneur, Dwaine was formerly Chairman, President, and CEO of a website development and management consulting company offering marketing, customer support, and website design services. He founded the company Veracson, utilizing his 35 years of management expertise to develop a network of consultants to provide strategy and tactics to overcome business challenges and seize opportunities to help emerging growth companies exceed their expectations.

Mr. Canova pioneered the business model of B2B outsourcing for call center services by founding Zacson. Dwaine grew Zacson to over 2,800 employees in 5 countries serving Fortune 500 companies in the technology and telecommunications industries.

Mr. Canova was CEO of Synteleos, Inc., an ASP providing transaction management capabilities and he was also the Executive Director of the Center for Professional Studies (CPS) in Philadelphia for more than a decade, with a specialty in the design and utilization of management reporting to enhance corporate performance.

He speaks around the world on topics of sales, marketing and business performance management. His speech to the Stanford Alumni Association as a part of their Executive Briefings is published and available under the title “Customer Focused Companies: Using Integrated Marketing Practices to Increase Profitability”. He provides unique and practical insight on the value of leveraging database information to achieve superior customer service, acquisition, and retention.

He has numerous articles and books published on business management. His soon to be published book, “Orchestrating Sustainable Growth™”, presents the management methodology he created for emerging growth companies – Entrepreneurial Enterprise Management Methodology™ (E²M²™). He has written a chapter, The Bottom Line, for the “Encyclopedia of Telemarketing.” Dwaine also wrote a book entitled “Overcoming the Four Deceptions in Career Relationships.” This book presents his observations and experiences with interpersonal communications in business and provides improvement techniques designed to help people work more effectively in teams.

Dwaine holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Dwaine served as an instructor at the U.S. Military Academy's Academic Computer Center at West Point and held a Teaching Fellowship in the graduate business program at the Wharton School in Pennsylvania.
