Heads are in very good cond. and have been cut to 110cc chambers. Have had port and bowl work by tommy costales @ houston engine balancing and have not been run since freshened a few years ago. Do not remember flow numbers but work very well for a conventional head on a big inch motor. The fork tubes have rust pits, it is my assumption that someone will buy these for their restoration project and fit new tubes when they rebuild these forks. No cosmetic flaws on the lower legs. These are the "build it yourself" tower reinforcements described in the Ford / Autolite Boss 302 Chassis Modification for Trans Am Racing. These braces weld into the shock tower at a 45-degree angle below the upper a-arm. This modification can be done to any 67 68 69 or 70 Mustang. This auction is for 2 steel .106" thick plates which are made to fit your 67-70 mustang towers. Please be aware that minor final grinding for perfect fit into your car may be required. There is some manufacturing and assembly variability in the towers, not to mention 40 years of use. The weakness of shock towers on 67-70 Mustangs is the biggest design problem that these cars had. The original design was never intended to carry the weight and horsepower that Mustangs evolved to handle. My father made me sell my first car back in 1980, a 67 Mustang convertible, because the shock towers cracked and made the care drive poorly.
