Dangit, I made this one too small for me! This is a fun, fun, fun tunic - made of heavy weight cotton, almost homedec weight, but lots softer! The fabric is white with gold/shimmery yellow squares. I have placed white binding along the armholes and bottom hem. Every visible seam has been finished with a HongKong seam treatment. (which means it looks really nice on the inside too!) This dress was made a size 6. I think it could comfortably fit a 4-6 (I am a 6 up top but an 8 on bottom, so it's a little tight on my hips. This is a little bit shnazzier than my usual pieces; however, I fell in love with this fabric and just HAD to do something fun with it. The fabric is silk - very similar to dupioni silk but with the printing on top. The pattern is either a very dark green or a very dark blue depending upon what you put it up against. The background color is a shimmery taupe..more gold than gray. This hits just above the knee, but can be made shorter if you'd prefer. I almost recommend it going a little shorter if you have shorter legs. Also, the bell sleeves are definitely bells. This is not a dress or tunic for the wallflower!
